An early buffet breakfast is served at leisure in the hotel's restaurant.

If you decide to leave excess luggage in the hotel in Lima, you mayhave it stored in the luggage room upon check out. Remember that you can only bring one suitcase (44 lbs) and one carry-on with your on board.

Transfer from the hotel to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport you will check in for your flight to Cuzco.
9:50 AM I 1:00 AM. Depart Lima on Lan Peru flight # 35 Arrive Cuzco (I 1,600 feet)

Guests will be transferred by motorcoach to the spectacular Monasterio Hotel. Your bags will be delivered to your room by pre-tipped bellmen. You may feel uncomfortable due to the change in altitude. We advise you to take it easy this afternoon if you are experiencing any symptoms of altitude sickness. Lunch is on your own today.

City Tour Cuzco
At 2:00 p.m., your English-speaking guide will take you on a tour of the historical center of this attractive city. You will visit the 16th century Cathedral and its Colonial art. Other stops include the Plaza de Armas and Santo Domingo's Convent.

After the tour, Stan and Judy Neilson and Sherrie and I went to the Sacsayhuaman ruins just outside of town (the guide and the bus driver took us there...Stan simply asked the guide and the guide said sure...they wouldn't even take any tip or anything.) They then took us to a "factory" where lots of stuff was for sale (and subsequently purchased by Sherrie and Judy.)
